Radish leaf pesto
A fast growing annual crop with a distinctive pungent peppery taste. We plant lots of them because they are awsome companions deterring pests and protecting our cucumber and tomato plants.
We transform the edible leaves into pesto with lemon and some garlic.
The surprising taste of this pesto is simply delicious with grilled sardines or any other fat fish. We also love it with pasta and enjoy adding some on risottos.
Be bold: add some to your cheesepies or dip them in, add it to beetroot or tomato soups, make a different Caprese salad.
Vegan. Contains pine nuts. Contains garlic.
